Review: Steal My Heart
Steal My Heart by Lisa Eugene
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book is totally gonna steal your hearts...
Maggie and Gabe is one of the most fascinating and adorable couples...
Maggie is really amusing!..I concur with Gabe on this one..Whens she was taken, instead of doing exactly what her captor said, she kept showing defiance from day one..She even cleaned the bathroom while being captured..xoxo...She is very close to being OCD,actually, but everything she does is done in a so amusing and funny way that I was laughing at her throughout the book along with Gabe...
Gabe is so.. underestimated...Not as a Seal and his abilities to "steal" and protect or even his intelligence, but as a person..Being wrongfully accused, without him even knowing about it, overwhelmed with guilt and feelings of not-being-worthy...It's just so sad to watch someone so good see himself so badly and have others believe it too..
Adventurous with many holy sh** moments.Full of adorable moments, too.Fascinating Characters(not just the duo,but Kate,Victoria,Tom,Cane as well)

Review: Complete Me
Complete Me by J. Kenner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Given by the publisher for an honest review
The Stark Trilogy comes to an end....That's a really depressing thought..
Complete Me was everything a fan of the series/reader wanted..and more..
It is the best book of the series,in my opinion....
It's strong and utterly mind-blowing.
I got addicted on it from the very first page..It had a perfect pace and the story never bored..It was amazing from the start to the ending..It was a whirlwind of events that kept us wondering about them without having our head ready to explode ( in the bad way )...
Damien and Nikki had a magnificent progress on their relationship..We saw Damien opening up to her like never before..We saw both characters display real growth that empowered their relationship..
The only bad thing about it is that it's the last book of the series..But at the same time,I realise that Damien and Nikki deserve their HEA without vindictive and manipulative people trying to bring them down...
Powerful to its core.Mind-Blowing.Without precedent.

Review: Seducing Cinderella
Seducing Cinderella by Gina L. Maxwell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
The story of Reid and Lucie...
Lucie is simply adorable..She is sweet and kind and has a heart of gold..But she is not the quiet person she seems to be..She gets feisty and I bet she is very hot when she's mad..at Reid..xoxo
Reid is the hot alpha male we all are looking for, but he does not make things easy..He adores Lucie and wants every happiness for her,but he doesn't think he deserves her...And thus,he makes silly decisions and speaks hard words towards the end...And thank God,he has a discussion with a special someone (not telling who) and he gets his head on the game, and not just the fight..
I loved this book!..It has it all..
Solid Story.Strong Duo.Passion and Love.Hurt and Forgiveness.

Review: Trace Elements
Trace Elements by Kate Donovan
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I really liked the story of this book..I liked the characters who were different but so similar at the same time...
I would have rated higher,if it weren't about the speed of the book..As I said,I liked the story and the characters but I felt we were moving too fast..For example,I loved the scene when they made love for the first time but we went to that point too fast..In fact,I was sure I missed some pages and I had to reread it just to be sure..
However, despite that, it was a good book and I really enjoyed it...

Review: Bedding the Wrong Brother
Bedding the Wrong Brother by Virna DePaul
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Given by the publisher for an honest review
I really liked it..It was the perfect combination of passion, fun, hot fighting and romance..
Melina is one of the cutest characters ever!..She doesn't believe she's sexy or beautiful, for that matter, but she owns the feeling so well that you can hardly see that she doesn't like it..On the one hand, she wants to change herself..On the other hand, she knows who she is and actually likes herself..It's such a peculiar combination of emotions but that's Melina,I guess...
Rhys is the guy who seemingly has it all, but still has insecurities..He doesn't feel enough, when compared to his brother..especially when it comes to Melina..But he takes the leap of faith and goes for it...Well,he went for it quite late,in my opinion...
I liked the contradictions that both characters have, because it made the story more interesting..They were intriguing yet quite real...
Not every woman feels sexy and beautiful. Not every man thinks he's a God.Not every person feels enough.
But they make it work and that's what counts,in the end...
PS
Can't to wait to read about Max's story!!!

About the Author:
Author of the Lost Immortals Saga and the Path Seekers Series. I’m also a mother, blogger, reader, gardener, home renovator, and a slayer of undead Egyptian mummies in Tomb Raider. I believe in karma, coffee, and seriously wish that the producers of Xena would bring my favorite show ever back.
I was born in the race-car city of Charlotte, NC, and now live in the City of Alchemy and Medicine, NC, when I’m not hanging out in Bardonia (Lost Immortals). Most of my characters are based on people that I’ve met throughout my travels and adventures. People tend to stop and start conversations with me as if I’ve known them my entire life. Does this freak me out? Not really. My mom says that one day I’ll get kidnapped by one of them. I told her that if it weren’t for these lovely people then I wouldn’t be able to create the stories that I do.
Some other common tidbits…hmm. I’ve watched the movie Under the Tuscan Sun almost 200 times. Seriously, the way I see it is if I keep watching it enough, then suddenly the house that Diane Lane lives in will magically appear in my backyard. I know. I have a huge imagination!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Given by the publisher for an honest review
It was dangerously good...Completely mind-blowing!!
I got addicted on it from the first pages..
Devon is simply a remarkable woman.Few people could do what she did. What amazed me the most about her is her decency, her morals and the elegance she radiated with every action she made, with every word she spoke..
She is one of the best and most amazing characters I've ever read about..
Liam was so fun to read..He is the only man who deserved to have a woman like Devon..They have the same moral code..Yet,they break their own rules for each other..I loved his POVs..When he realised he was jealous, when described her,in the ending..
I loved the story.I loved the characters.I loved the decency, the intelligence and the elegance this book exuded...I loved everything about it!
Brilliant.Elegant.Unique.

Review: Love Love
Love Love by Beth Michele
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Oh my God....
I honestly have no words about this book..
It became one of my favourite books of all time..
The characters are so amazingly created...
Brad is such a sweetheart..I adored him from his first scene with Gabby..He is literally the perfect man!..handsome,sweet,understanding,adorable but sexy and most importantly adores Gabby..And well, since I'm a coffee addict myself,he is big winner in my book just by making delicious coffee..xoxo
Gabby is so vibrant..She has lost so many things in her life..And I totally agree with Brad that her mother is from another planet..Gabby is the sweet gorgeous girl next door who makes everyone smile..Yet,she doesn't smile enough until she meets Brad..Until she meets the right person..
It is an amazing book and I'm honoured that the talented Beth Michele offered me the chance of being part of her promotional tour.
Epic.Heartbreaking.Inspiring.Utterly loved.
One of the Best Books I've ever read. One of the Books that literally touched my heart and soul.

The shower feels absolutely amazing. The cold water hits my face washing all the dirt and ash off of me. I rinse my hair, washing it twice to make sure the smell is gone. I scrub my face getting the ash out of my pores. I stay an extra ten minutes just letting the water run off me. Finally, I get out and grab a towel. Oh crap, wouldn’t you know, no towel. That was the downside to working on laundry day. I peek out my bedroom door and call out to Carissa, “Riss! Can you bring me a towel?” I’m shivering from the windows being left open blowing air right over my bare skin. “Riss!” Ugh, she’s not answering. I peek out and see she’s nowhere to be found. Oh, what the heck. I tiptoe down the hall and across the living room. Our rooms are on opposite sides of the apartment, which benefits me greatly when she brings guy friends over. We had our own bathrooms as well, leaving little to argue about. “Where the heck are you…son of a—” I quickly cover my parts with my freezing cold hands as I hear him laugh. “Turn around!” I demand. He continues laughing as the blood drains from my face completely. My face is pale, and I could die right now. Literally die. “Sorry, didn’t mean to disturb ya there.” The southern tone comes from his sweet lips. Eric. He blinks several times before finally covering his eyes. Oh holy balls, he just saw me naked. Butt naked. And wet.Monday, July 22, 2013

I really liked it..
It was well written..The story was vibrant and alive...The characters in it were real and it felt like a true story..It wasn't like you were reading a book about fictional events but like reading a journal about 2 people falling in love with each other again..
It always amazes me how 2 broken people can heal and complete each other in such a way..They are different yet so similar..
It makes you believe that indeed there is one person for you out there, with whom you are destined to be..
A lovely sweet story that will touch you deeply..

Don't Lie To Me by Stacey Lynn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book has been on my #WaitingOnFire list for months now..And after I read it,my anticipation was well rewarded!!
Emma and Jack is one of my favourite couples ever..
Emma has been through so much and finally when she has it all,a storm is knocking on her door..She is an amazing character who shows love and determination ,beyond words..She is sweet and kind, but feisty and relentless when it comes to people she loves..
Jack is thought to be the insensitive man with the blank exterior. But it couldn't further from the truth. He thinks he's dark and dangerous, but not to Emma and Logan..He adores them and does everything he can to protect them both, even if it kills him in the process..
They are so different from each other but when they're together it's like they are one person..
Don't Lie To Me is fun, romantic and passionate..Nothing short of excellent!

Sole Witness by Jenn Black

A Great Read!
Lori is a fantastic female lead character..She is certainly charismatic, beautiful, feisty and quite stubborn..What I love about her the most is her contradictions..She is supermodel, for crying out loud, and she still doesn't believe she is so beautiful..She doesn't believe she's good enough or smart enough or worthy enough..She has lost so many people in her life and she's been hurt even more..
What i admire about her is that she doesn't give up on the people she loves, even though they have hurt her and pushed her away from their lives..
Davis is a man who has made many mistakes in his life, starting with breaking up with Lori..He followed his parents' wishes and now he is unhappy and alone. And now lori comes back into his life and he doesn't want to lose again. He fights for her, just like he should have done in the beginning..
Everyone makes mistakes. The important thing is to realise that, apologize and make up for it.And Davis does that..
A wonderful book about getting back the one who got away...

Review: That First Kiss
That First Kiss by J.C. Valentine
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A Great book!!
I love Piper's character..She comes from a small town, without many resources and she decides to start over in a new city..She is building her life on her own, with the help of her friends..She is strong, independent, feisty and doesn't really take no for an answer..I also love the fact that she doesn't take any of Tate's crap..She's standing up for herself..
She is a remarkable person!
And Tate..He's been hurt before..Utterly betrayed..And with his father being a cheater,he has come to believe he himself can't be monogamous..He doesn't get involved with anyone, doesn;t let anyone get close to him..But Piper infiltrates his well-protected heart..
He is a really fun character..And despite the fact that it took him too long to see the truth,I really liked him..
It shows a different dynamin between the couple..He is her "boss" but in reality she is the boss in the relationship..
I loved this book and I'm so glad it was recommended to me,because it is a MUST read..

Review: Escaping Reality
Escaping Reality by Lisa Renee Jones
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I loved it!!!
It is very different by any other book I've read..
Amy's story and Amy as a character herself are fascinating, intriguing and so very unique...
It's full of questions and mysteries..When the reader gets too many questions and too few answers,it is sometimes a bad combination..But this book is challenging regarding its leading character,Amy, and us as readers..It was like watching a movie right in front of your eyes..It was animated and the writing was just amazing..
It is one of the best books I've read..
PS
However,in the ending,be prepared for murdering tendencies..I sure had them...
I hope things and peoples actions are explained in the next book......

It was fun and adventurous..It had character...I liked it very much!!!
I loved the prologue and the epilogue..The prologue sparked my interest and the epilogue was intriguing and preparing us for the next book..
I also loved the progress Errol's character displayed..He started out as a boy in his own desires and dreams and the book ended with him as a responsible loyal man..

It's EPIC!...
Honestly, there are no words to describe the magnificence of this book..
Collide is an amazing read,no doubt. But Pulse takes everything in another whole dimension..
The story without precedent. The emotions literally flowing within the story. The characters so pure that captivate you with one action/one sentence.
It's just amazing..
it is definitely one of the best books of the year and one of the best books I've ever read..
PS

Review: Reburn
Reburn by Anne Marsh
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Given by Kensington Books for an honest review
I really liked this book!!It was as adventurous as romantic..
Sam and Olivia met 10 years ago and they had an incredible summer. But none of them was willing to fight for the other and admit their feelings. So,they both went their own way..Until they meet again and their own fire resurfaces even stronger..
My favourite part was when each character realised that they had "almost sex" during an enormous fire..Their lust, their desire, their love couldn't wait even for the fire to cool down..Well it's not very realistic(hope so for their lives) but I can't stop liking it either..Plus,it was very amusing, when Sam learnt that FBI special agent is his Livy..xoxo
However,I would like to know how they will figure it out with respect to their jobs..That's a tough one..Maybe we'll see at the second book, which is about Evan...Hope so..
I truthfully recommend it..It's a wonderful summer read!!

Review: Save the Date
Save the Date by Susan Hatler
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
It was a really wonderful short romance!!!
It has humour and it is also insightful because you see how a person deals with betrayal. But more than, you see how a person who falls down is trying to bring himself up again..
As a woman myself, despite the fact that I haven't been cheated on, I can relate to Kristen's reactions. She wasn't really hurt for the betrayal. But it was agonising that she hadn't seen it.All the questions about "Why?How could I not know? What else could I have done? How could I be so wrong?" are expressed in this book in an amazing human way, bringing the cruel reality into it.We see a woman who quits her job..has the guts to go for something entirely new..and through Ethan she realises that she has lost the confident successful woman that she was and still is..And she wants to return to her true self..And she does that..Plus,she takes responsibility for her actions, something that doesn't happen very often generally..
A Short Romance with true meaning, surrounded by humour and well..love!

It was a wonderful and delightful read!!
It was entertaining..It was fun..Yet it was adventurous..
It was well written and I enjoyed it !!...It would be a nice movie,too...
However,I didn't like the ending very much..It left me hanging, but in a bad way..Plus,we didn't see any progress on Kid's relationships with others, like Smokey and Electra..Practically he interacted with Mouse or his family...It just wasn't enough...
PS
I would like to read an Electra:A Superhero Novel...I believe it would be very interesting..

In a Heartbeat by Hilary Storm

It's one of the sweetest stories I've ever read..It makes me wonder how much a person can actually overcome...
Talon has lost too much..Eaven is missing something, after being betrayed..They are surrounded by tragedy..Yet,after they meet each other, they both discover themselves again..It's like both of them is witnessing rebirth..But then, tragedy happens again..
I could write a long review saying how good the book was,how strong the characters are..But deep emotional stories like this one don't need that..
A remarkable story.Inspiring People.Insightful And Strong.

Review: Just Dare Me...
Just Dare Me... by Stephanie Bond
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
My thinking over this book is little weird..While I was reading it,I was very into it so I thought I would rate it really high..But when I finished it and made a mental scrolling back, I realised it's not that amazing..
The story is different from others..I liked the fact that the characters changed much..Gabrielle turned into a sexy confident siren, while Dell realised that he is not happy and turned into a monogamous guy deeply in love with Gabby..I liked the changes..
However, what I think didn't work out so well is the beginning of the book. The duo's personalities were out of place..She is soo shy while he is soo arrogant..And the falling off the tree...
While it was well written,I just think the starting point was a little off and thus brought the whole book down with it..
But I can say that I enjoyed it,anyhow..

Review: Rock With Me
Rock With Me by Kristen Proby
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I always thought Mac's story will be amazing!..I really loved it!!
The only reason I didn't give the precious 5stars is because it isn't my favourite book of the series, like Julianne's story and Will's.
Mac is the hardcore woman who does everything on her own, without asking any help..She has been burnt by her past aka Scott so she swears she won't ever date anyone famous ever again..And guess what? She falls for a rock icon..Ironic much?..Karma is a bitch..But everything happens for a reason..Mac is vulnerable too..And with Leo's help, she overcomes it.She becomes an even stronger woman, because she has someone. She has her someone..the one person she trusts completely with everything..someone she relies on,without feeling pressure..She has someone who makes her whole..
Leo finally got his sister Meg back in his life..And while we're at it..He meets Mac,too..and Mac is well ah Mac..It's an event by itself(you must read the previous books to have a better view of Mac's character)..
I loved Leo in 2moments specifically..When Brandon came(not saying anything more) and when he lost his cool at the barbeque and started kinda defending himself and making some revelations.........
Kristen Proby couldn't have found someone better for our Mac..Leo is everything she ever needed..And Mac is everything Leo ever wanted..They just didn't know it,before they met..

Review: Play With Me
Play With Me by Kristen Proby
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
After Nate and Juliannes's story, this is my next favourite of the series (including and the 4th book)!!
The story is wonderful..It rotates around both Will and Meg.And we see how their lives are individually..Something we haven't seen in the previous books.
Meg has been through more than the average person should have to endure. And yet she is happy with "her kids",as she calls them..Her work is outstanding.Nurse in a unit with cancer teenager patients? That's so cruel.Yet she goes there with a smile,to make others smile and forget even for a little while the hell they're in..
However, that means "she's in a relationship with her job".She doesn't have a social life and coincidentally she meets Jules again and Will.
Will is our "Football Star".He is cocky but he isn't arrogant at all..he considers himself lucky for being at the position he is,but that's not true.He has worked hard to be where he is..Meaning at the top of the game,100million contracts don't go to lucky people..I love the fact that he is overprotective and the glares he gives Meg,when he is either jealous or nervous for her safety..But most of all,I love the fact that he takes care of Megan. He gives her everything because she is everything.Even though she doesn't want it,he will provide it..
Sometimes,we must let people take care of us,even if we're not used to that..Sometimes,it's good to let ourselves just be..Sometimes,it's ok to change our ways for someone..

Captive at Christmas by Danielle Taylor
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The book definitely kept me captive!!..
Hannah is one of the sweetest characters I've ver read about..
After losing her brother, she decided that she wanted to help people..help soldiers with their issues and their troubles and help their families deal with everything about their "damaged" loved ones..She has a golden heart for sure..
Mac has spent so many years alone with no one to trust,no one to rely on..After torture and taking so many lives,he has convinced himself that he doesn't deserve happiness, that he doesn't deserve anyone to keep close to him..
And then, they meet in the most inexplicable way..Their lives collide,literally...
They found love by finding each other..

Lacy is fearless..She has more guts than most...Going to the UK alone...wow...
And Dex?...I would like to know more about that hot protective sexy-voiced man...

Review: Out of Breath
Out of Breath by Rebecca Donovan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
There are no words to describe what an epic book this is..
It was a journey..Emma's journey that ultimately led to her happiness..
It shows that sometimes you have to hit rock bottom in order to get up and stand on your own feet..
It shows that when you belong with someone, there is nothing that can happen that will change that..
I don't usually read such sad stories because life is already full of sorrow and I don't want to read about it too...But Emma's story is one of those that you CANNOT NOT READ...
Emma is a character that inspires people and gives them strength to overcome their own problems. If she can do it,so can I..And Emma can...
One Word for this book and the entire series. EPIC

Review: Double Dealing: A Loveswept Classic Romance
Double Dealing: A Loveswept Classic Romance by Linda Cajio
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Received it via NetGalley
I really loved it!!..
One of the reasons I loved it is that there was no life-altering drama going on...It was about 2 people who met again, got to know each other and fell in love yet again..
Rae and Jed are the most amusing, stubborn and passionate characters I've ever read...She wasn't sure if she could trust him and he was reluctant about telling her his feelings..I absolutely adore Burrows..Without him,the Barkeleys wouldn't survive, for sure..
It was so amazing that even the dogs have an amusingly sparkling personality...
It was a short delightful read and I really recommend it..
