Dreamz (Wunder 0.5)
A World of Turmoil and Yearning...

Wunder may have a normal life now…well, as normal as a freak of nature could have. Half zombie while her job is to hunt bloodthirsty creatures to protect the innocent. It’s the dreams that haunt her and they aren’t nightmares. Wunder dreams of a man, a man made just for her. Is he real, can he be the one she‘s yearned for?
Pete’s world is a lonely one as he wrestles with the reality of being part zombie. His hatred for the creatures that killed his parents drives him to patrol the streets and wipe them all out. His life would be stark, but for the dreams he’s been having; of a woman, so sensuous, so sexy. These alluring visions have become erotic and consuming. He feels as if he made her up to keep from going crazy. Is this life of hunting the walking dead, all there is? Or is she out there, waiting…just for him?

The Approach (Wunder #1)
Wunder isn’t your average girl, in fact, she isn’t even an average human. In a world ravaged by Zombies, she was born amidst the chaos. Where can a girl like her find the man of her delicious dreams? She has an idea and it leads her to the hottest new club in town, where she finds what’s been missing in her life.
Pete has his own secrets to tell, and when they come together, another story unfolds while the sparks fly.

                                                   My Reviews
 Dreamz (Wunder 0.5):
First of all,The Wunder Series is a series of short novels..And I'm always kinda weary of them..Either they're really good or they're really bad..Dreamz was an amazing start to the series!!
The pace is beautiful and the flow is graceful..It introduces the 2 main characters in an equally beautiful way..And it gives us the intrigue we need for the main course The Approach,Wunder #1...
I loved the 2 POVs,because we get to see both of our characters, before they met each other....

It is a wonderful introduction to the series...I recommend to read it,because it's a pure delight!!

The Approach (Wunder #1):
Like I said,Dreamz(Wunder #0.5) was amazing!!So,I was really excited for the rest of the series..

I liked the storyline..I enjoyed the characters...But,I would like to read some more scenes between Pete and Wunder, before they get together..They are really fun characters and I would love to see them flirty..And I would like a different way for the secrets to be unveiled..It seemed a bit rushed, which is understandable, but it didn't need to be..

But the story is solid and very very interesting..I'm looking forward to reading more about Wunder..She is one wonderful girl...xoxo

Yearning Devotion Blog Tour

Book: Yearning Devotion
Author: Rachael Orman

Synopsis:
Gwen has had a hard life with many difficult circumstances that have made her a hard woman, who sometimes makes decisions others don't understand. Thankfully McKayla is in her life to help keep her grounded and is the woman who helps her keep her head when all else seems lost.
Then one day, a man comes into Gwen's life that makes things take an unexpected twist and makes her face the demons of her past.
Will this man help Gwen become a stronger woman or will it break her completely?

My Review:
It is an absolutely amazing book...

This is so much more than a lovestory or a triangle..Actually,this is so much more than any other book I've read in a long time..

It is a very sad story but it speaks from the heart..I could describe it as emotional but even that pales in comparison with the truth..
It's so amazing that I have no other words to describe it..The depth of the characters and the unfortunate reality that comes with the story will hit you in the gut..I was dumbstruck all day, after I finished the book..
The emotions are displayed in such a way that you can feel them right to your bone..I felt the despair, the hurt, the anguish, the fear and the love coming from the pages right to my heart..There is no other way to describe it...

Even if it's just fiction,I really feel honoured to have read about Gwen..This book may be fiction but unfortunately it's been reality for other people..And I admire all of them for having survived such horror..
I can't wait to read the next book about Qwen...and I really hope that "being"(sorry but I cannot call him a person) follows his brother...{You'll know what I mean, after you read the book}..

Author Bio:

Release Day Event for Striving for normal by B.L.Mooney

Book: Striving For Normal
Author: B.L. Mooney
Release date:  August 23, 2013

Synopsis:
The most intimate relationship Drew Clayborn had with a man in the last four years has been with her therapist. With a past that has left her broken and scarred, she tries to piece herself back together enough to make it through each day. Whether she’s ready or not, life brings her back among the living, and Drew needs to learn quickly how to deal with her troubled past. When the perfect opportunity presents itself to pursue her dream career, it also provides Drew her first encounter with a compelling man since her devastating breakup with the last one.
Carl Williamson is rich, powerful, and gorgeous. The desire she feels when he’s near makes it impossible not to melt into his arms. He wants Drew and will stop at nothing to have her. Carl promises to be her protector, but he brings familiar concerns to the surface.
Dennis Brooks is a nice guy her best friend thinks would be her perfect match. He’s strong, honest, and sexy as hell, and he makes her smile in a way no one else can. Drew feels safe and secure with him, but she isn’t certain he is strong enough to handle Drew and give her what she thinks she needs in a relationship.
When Drew’s demanding, controlling ex comes back to stake his claim on her, the carefully crafted world she built for herself is turned upside down. Does she need a powerful man like Carl to help her? Will Dennis step up and be the man she needs? Or does she finally become strong enough to deal with her past on her own? Who is the true hero in her quest of striving for normal?

My Review:
Striving for normal is one most emotional books out there..

It's sweet and deep..It's about the glow that love can offer and about the disaster it may bring..

Drew is remarkably strong..She survived events other people wouldn't.She experienced events that people shouldn't..And she came out stronger..

Dennis seemed like a mild person..It seemed like he didn't have a strong character..But,that was a huge misconception..It wasn't that he weren't strong. It was that he knew what Drew needed and he was strong enough to make her see it..She had experienced violence and tragedy and abuse..She needed a man who would be kind and loving,so that she could get rid of the darkness that she was surrounded with since Craig.

Carl..He is not a bad guy,not at all..I actually like him a lot..But I think he still needs time to recover from hiw wife's loss..

In fact, dear B.L.Mooney could you please write a book about Carl??..I believe he needs his HEA..

Striving for normal is deep and moving..I couldn't put it down..And I may have been quite teary on some moments...

Author Bio:
B.L. Mooney started writing when the voices and storylines in her head ran out of room. They were getting too cramped and neither B.L. nor the characters could take it anymore, so she did the only thing she could do—she made room. She always knew she wanted to write, but vowed to make time for it later. Now that she’s made time for writing, most everything else falls to the wayside. That seems to suit the characters that keep popping up just fine.
B.L. lives in the Midwest and her other talents include in-demand cookies, a very dry sense of humor, and stealth eavesdropping. Some mannerisms, attitudes, or twists come from random sentences picked up while passing by strangers. So speak up the next time you have something to gossip about. You never know, it may just end up on the pages of the next book you read.

Cover Reveal for Bird Of Prey

Title :   Bird Of Prey
Series : Sémya Slotin Mystery #1
Author : Danielle-Claude Ngontang Mba
Genre : Mystery Romance
Publication Date : November 25th 2013
Publisher : Ever After Edition
Cover Artist:  Danielle-Claude Ngontang Mba

Synopsis

This was supposed to be an easy case…
Sémya Slotin had spent the last three years living in London with her best friend Polliannah Koch staying away from solving cases. After Hawaii, she was taking a break from puzzles, cases and mysteries that could potentially get her killed.  Instead, she had been doing her second and third favorite things, drinking and selling expensive vintage wines and having earthshattering sex with the mysterious, sexy, beautiful but ever so secretive Josh Heinz. Life in London was good….until her funds ran out. Too much wine drinking, not enough wine selling!
When fashion designer and adoptive mother, Annika Slotin, summoned her back to Paris to hire her for what Sémya considered being the easiest case of her amateur sleuth career, all she could think of and seeing was money signs and a well-deserved Cuban holiday once it was solved.
What Sémya didn’t see was her stumbling on the fresh corpse of supermodel Johanna Cartier. She didn’t think that male model turned fashion designer Julian Marais-Caldwin, who also happened to be Sémya’s ex, would be suspected of brutally murdering her. Johanna was his girlfriend, his muse and he loved her. Sémya didn’t see the dead bodies piling up or the conspiracy theories.
Sémya was a little rusty. But then again, it was supposed to be an easy case and she was going to solve it.  One vintage wine at a time… Sémya Slotin was officially back in business!

Review: Stripped

Stripped
Stripped by Jasinda Wilder

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

OK,my review for Stripped...

It was on my WaitingOnFire list for soo long,so when it came out, reading it was the first thing I wanted to do...
Yes,the synopsis was a bit cheesy but I really thought it was going to be amazing..Well,it kinda wasn't..

I liked the general story,I loved Dawson and I enjoyed the progress of the characters and the storyline....I adored the ending..But for the first time in a while,I didn't adore the female lead..I loved her for being strong enough to get out the small town and follow her dreams..I loved her for all the hard work she's done..

But 1.she left her dad when her mum just died(she could have waited a little) 2.OK you don't have any money, you can't find another job so you become a stripper.Own it.It's not a pretty job but you decide to do it..All the puking afterwards is a little too much..3.When you finally have a chance to stop, she says she doesn't want to depend on Dawson..I don't know about the others, but I would rather depend on him, rather than keep stripping..

Dawson was so amazing he made it up for Grey....He is the perfect man,actually..Sexy but not too arrogant about it..Rich but doesn't touch him so much..He is protective of her but too overbearing..He is adventurous but he's ready to settle down with her..I loved everything about him!
And the ending...ah I loved it...Not saying more about that,though..

You should read it..But,you should probably read the first half, trying not to judge very much..The second half more than makes it up for the readers.....

Review: Flirting with Disaster

Flirting with Disaster
Flirting with Disaster by Ruthie Knox

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Given by the publisher for an honest review

I LOVED IT!!!!!

It is fun but emotional..The characters are hurt by their past, but they don't have those major drama incidents..The story progresses in a perfect rhythm..

It is simply amazing!Sean is a very proud man but he has the guts to admit it..He is also man enough to grow up,see his mistakes and figure out a way to move forward..Even towards the ending when he was being a sort of a jerk,he was just so real..Even I couldn't stay angry with him for long(and I tend to get kinda mad when the characters screw up)!!

When I read the synopsis,I had the impression that this book would be a good one, even great..But it isn't..It's completely AMAZING!!..I couldn't stop reading it!!..even when my stomach kept growling,I kept going..xoxo...

I'm reading books daily, but this one stands out without a doubt..It's truely amazing in every sense of the word!!I STRONGLY recommend it..

Review: Unscrupulous

Unscrupulous
Unscrupulous by Avery Aster

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Given by the publisher for an honest review

I really liked the story and I enjoyed Taddy very much..
She must be one of the most amusing unpredictable powerful leading ladies I've ever read about..And Warner or Garner for that matter is sweet and sexy at the same time,as he is naughty and sensitive...

He is full of contradictions, that surface only through Taddy and I liked that..The one should always bring something different out of you..Taddy does that for Warner and Warner strengthens Taddy's emotional state by simply being there...

There are a lot of steamy scenes in the book but my favourites are the emotional ones..When Taddy enters the police station in France and we see Warner's thoughts being written..When Taddy returns home and finds him there,we see just how much she wants him to be there..How much she needs someone to stay, not let her down..

I would give it 5stars but I was left with questions in the end..It's obvious to me who Taddy's dad is,but we spent part of the book wondering about it and in the end we didn't officially figure it out..Plus,I believe we saw the characters as individuals but we didn't see them as a couple much..We didn't see them evolve together much and I missed that..

So,it's a very hot book, not just because the steamy scenes but because of the much emotion in it...It's fun to read..It captivates you..I mean, literally you can't stop until you finish it..The story is different and the characters are well defined and very intriguing..But it lacks the couple's progress,in my opinion..
