So Danielle, what inspired you to write this series? How did you come up with Savannah and Kayden’s characters?
I’ve had the idea in my head for a long time. I love country music, Texas and hot cowboys! Ha so I thought it has to be turned into an awesome story! Savannah I based off myself and some pics I saw online and as for Kayden, I saw a pic of Colin Wayne on Pinterest and thought he’s hot! So, based off the pic I found.
I know that the series extended to 4 books, instead of the initial 3, so many changes were needed, I imagine. Are you happy with how everything turned out? Was it like you had imagined?
Yes very! I’m happy that the night I was getting book 3 cover reveal ready to go out to blogs,Kayla the Bibliophile told me I should do 4 books. I was nervous book 3 would either be HUGE or rushed and Savannah and Kayden’s story wouldn’t be what fans deserve. So I did four and I'm very happy I decided to do that.
You always make it known through your bios that you have a beautiful family. How do you manage being a successful writer, a mother, a wife and a businesswoman? Tell me the secret, please, so that I can use it in the future.
It's HARD believe me! My saving grace is my 10yr old Madison. She’s a little mommy! HA. She will chase Finn around, or help make lunch usually sandwiches and chips or goldfish ha. During the summer, it's much harder b/c there is no school. It’s a lot easier to balance during the school yr. The only thing that's helping me keep my sanity is my boutique,which is slow right now b/c of the summer & of course the fact that Sierra runs my store pretty much for me is helping a LOT!
I think this book is more emotional and deeper than your first two. We see the fragile side of Savannah and Kayden, but we also see their strength. Is this part of the message that you wanted to reach the readers?
Yes. I want to show realistically what happens in a relationship. I had issues with false stories in high school going around that my now husband cheated on me,which were 100% false. But people love drama and love seeing people unhappy to boost themselves. So I showed that in this book that what matters the most is believing in the person you love. If you two are strong enough, you can get through anything. We see tabloids ALL the time speculate things,so thought it would be a good way to cause some drama!
If you had to choose, which writer would you consider a mentor? Or, which writer do you admire the most?
I talked a lot with J.A. Redmerski when first contemplating writing Irresistible Desire. She helped me figure out goodreads and all that fun stuff. Without her I don’t think I would have taken that plunge into self-publishing!
Are you reading any book right now?
Nooo! Way to busy..But while on vacation in July, I read Collide and Pulse by Gail McHugh and LOOOVED them! I really want to read REAL next;everyone’s raving about that book lol ...

Well for my store I make handmade bows and tutus. I love making bows its therapeutic ha but my perfectionist in me drives me crazy sometimes! I love to ATTEMPT to bake with my kids. I looove being outdoors; I walk 3 miles every day with the kids. It keeps me in shape J...

Tell us some fun facts about you, your life or/and your book.
I love soap operas, and big brother! Haa I love drama drama drama! & I am a Huge tv watcher at night;like The Following, True Blood, Banshee, Criminal Minds. I get inspired watching tv J to write a kick ass book; I have books and covers all planned out for the next 2 years!

I believe you’re currently working on Tempt My Heart. What can you tell us about it? What inspired you to write this one? Are you thinking of it as a stand-alone or as the beginning to a new series?
It’s a stand alone, out around same time as Book 4 Infinite Desire. It’s a rocker book with a twist. The main character is a female, who’s a lead singer to the hottest rock band. Her fiancé died in Afghanistan and since then, she’s numbed the pain with drugs, drinking and sex. No commitments. But a guitarist for the band going on tour for them, slowly starts to warm her iced heart. He has his own demons so it will be fun and challenging to write. I’m about quarter of the way into it right now. Can’t wait to start more teasers now that Indestructible Desire is done!
And we can't wait either for Don't Tempt my Heart or Infinite Desire,for that matter....
