The Shoe by Trista Jaszczak : The Blog Tour

Fall back in love with fairy tales with, Little Red, the first installment of “The Believe Series” by Trista Jaszczak.

Book 1: Little Red
Author:  Trista Jaszczak
Publication Date: June 18th,2013

Synopsis:
Little Red Riding Hood is back in the woods again...and in the clutches of the Big Bad Wolf no less...

Ride along with Sam Wentworth through the winding back roads of Louisiana, on a desperate escape from her past. Where she falls into the arms of the unlikely and sometimes unwilling hero, Ethan Parker When circumstances and fate seal the two together, entangling them with his 6 older brothers, feuding families and a little old bayou magic, Ethan must put aside everything he has ever known to keep her safe from the dangers their lives and their love poses. Can he keep her safe from himself?

My Review:
At first, the book seems quite disappointing..It seems very cliche and without that special spark..But,the story really gets better..

The beginning of the story seems rushed and the characters have that hot connection due to which they share their family secrets..Not to mention that the girl actually follows the guy into the woords and the cabin..And then, um they sleep together in just few hours...I would like that to happen more gradually rather than jumping right into it..
The,the girl disappears (I still don't quite grasp that)and gets kidnapped and later on she gets rescued by James and Ethan..
From that point on,the book has jumped to a whole other level..The characters are good, the story has a nice flow, full of supernatural elements that accompany the romantic ones..

Ethan's brothers are what make this book so fun and nice to read..I enjoyed all 6 of them..Each of them had a nice part to play in the book, without being too overwhelming or too absent..I found a beautiful harmony in the story...

It is a nice and refreshing read from all the romance and the 100%fantasy books that grasp the majority of the readers...It brings out the simplicity and the beauty that the fairytales always have...

When Blair not only falls for Prince of Rock, Hunter but also loses a precious $8,000.00 shoe, she finds herself in possibly the biggest mess of her entire life. How can she reveal who and what she really is to Prince Charming? How can she afford to replace such an expensive shoe? With the help of her two “Fairy God Fathers” who are pushing for her happily ever after…anything could happen.

My Review:
The Shoe was so much fun to read!! I loved Anthony and Christian,by the way!!...

Derek is such a knight!...He is too good to be true..He's always so kind and chivalrous and sexy..He really puts other men into a shameful position..Yes,he is THAT good...And he is exactly waht our beautiful Blair needs in her life..

We didn't really focus on Blair's lifestory,as much as we usually do..I think I kinda missed that..And the Ice Queen and her trolls weren't really creative in their bitchiness...
I just expected something more..A bit more action..

However, the story of Blair and Derek was the typical beautiful romantic lovestory we all love in fairytales and we all wished we had in our own lives..

A sweet and beautiful lovestory..

1. New York City - I’ve been once and was in such awe by the city, everything, every inch, I just love it. I have to     go there again. I think that’s why so many books have been based in NYC. I have nothing but love for that           city.
2. Ireland - my dream vacation. I told myself husband when he retires from the military there is no getting          around it, he HAS to take me, haha. So, we made a deal. He gets a Goldwing (motorcycle) and get Ireland.
3. Hawaii - I have always wanted to go. The land, the culture, I want to hike a volcano. I wouldn’t go to relax, but I     would go to explore every single each that I could.

5. Italy - Another dream vacation, just go all over that country. Venice, Rome…
6. Paris - Art….all that beautiful art!

8. Tailand - Because I’ve always wanted to see lots of different, exciting and beautiful places.
9. Seattle - Such a weird one to add, but I’ve wanted to since I watched Sleepless in Seattle.
