Anna
Kirby is sick of dating. She's tired of heartbreak. Despite being smart, sexy,
and funny, she's a magnet for men who don't deserve her.
A
week's vacation in New York is the ultimate distraction from her most recent
break-up, as well as a great place to meet a stranger and have some summer fun.
But to protect her still-bruised heart, fun comes with rules. There will be no
sharing stories, no swapping numbers, and no real names. Just one night of
uncomplicated fun.
Super-successful
serial seducer Ethan Scott has some rules of his own. He doesn't date, he
doesn't stay the night, and he doesn't make any promises.
It
should be a match made in heaven. But rules are made to be broken.

The Empire State Series concludes in New Year
in Manhattan.
Anna and Ethan are separated by the Atlantic Ocean. Their previous rules no longer apply.
In order to make things work, Anna needs to let go of her past and take a risk with Ethan. Ethan needs to learn how to deal with the ambiguity of a relationship.
Long-distance relationships are never easy and their relationship is fragile. For how long can it survive under the pressure of separation? Are either of them prepared to give up what they have for the other?
But distance isn’t the only obstacle Anna and Ethan face. Ultimately they have to decide whether they want to share a future together.

Louise Bay, your Empire State Trilogy is one of my favorite books series!!! I can usually pick one book from a series that I loved the most, but in this case it’s impossible!
A Week in New York (#1), Autumn in London (#2) and New Year in Manhattan (#3) are equally incredible!!!!!!
Every book flows so beautifully from one another that it makes you think of it as one big book, instead of 3. We are travelling from city to city in such an elegant and graceful way that it captures your soul.
And let me tell you something else…
I absolutely adored Anna and Ethan!! They are perfect for each other and the universe sees it and decides to draw them together, no matter the continents, disregarding any hurdle.
Both Anna and Ethan made mistakes, but they learnt from them. They put their love, their relationship first, above everything else. It is such a unique love story, with unique characters.
I am so happy that I got to read this series..I loved it from the bottom of my heart and it really is one of my all-time favorites!!!
I could go on and on, analyzing the story and the characters, leading and supporting, but the truth is simple. This series is one of the best series out there and you will be missing something significant, if you don’t read it.
Every book of the trilogy is a 5-Star Novel and the series is more than 5 stars..
I always see the last book as a celebratory to the characters..I see it as a way to replay every previous book and realize how much I just loved the series. So, that’s why I’m focusing on the trilogy and not on the last book, because the last book is the fireworks, the tribute to the characters that gives them their happy ending.
The Empire State Trilogy is beyond words.
-If you haven’t read it, hurry up and grab the books!
-If you have read the first two books, then you know that the third will be just as amazing!
-If you have read the first one, well then what are you waiting for?
It’s a precious love story that everyone must read!!
So, it was really a no-brainer for me.. New Year in Manhattan, as well as the entire trilogy, receives 5 Amazing Stars!
About
the Author
I
write sexy, contemporary romance novels – the kind I like to read. My books Faithful and Hopeful are stand-alone novels although there are some overlapping
characters. The Empire State Series
of novellas starts with A Week in New
York.
Ruined
by romantic mini-series of the eighties, I love all things romantic. There's
not enough of it in real life so I'll settle for books and films.
I
love the rain, the West Wing, London, days when you don't have to wear make-up,
being alone, being with friends, elephants and champagne.
Hearing
from readers is the best thing in the world so get in touch!
