All Keegan wanted was a roommate who was quiet, minded their own business, and paid for part of the rent. Instead, she got Camden Brooks.
Camden, with his sinful body, sharp tongue, and the inability to stay out of Keegan’s personal business, couldn’t seem to curb his interest in the new girl who wouldn’t put up with his domineering ways.
Feelings were running rampant, sexual tension was thick, and both were struggling to let go of control.
To some people, getting a roommate simply meant living with another person. But to both Camden and Keegan it was a curveball that neither was prepared to swing at.
Bender and Stacy Borel…
First of all, I have to
start by saying that Stacy Borel is an incredibly talented author and Bender is
simply the latest example of her exceptional work.
Before I start delving
into Bender’s story, I would like to comment on its Synopsis. As I have said
many times before, the synopsis is incredibly significant. It can seal the
deal, one way or another.. It must not reveal too many things about the story
and its characters, but it does have to exude the story’s aura and provide us
with the book’s vibe..It is a very thin line here… Bender excels at this (and
many other things, too)..The synopsis describes the one character, Camden, but
doesn’t have any descriptions on Keegan..It provides us with the story’s
environment and evolution; yet, we have no idea about the “inside”. The
Synopsis is written in perfection and THAT does not happen very often,
unfortunately. So Congratulations to whoever wrote it..
Now about Bender’s
content..Another thin line is the balance between romance, hotness, humor, fun
and oh well extra-hotness(yeah those delicious scenes)..Most of the time, the
book is either too romantic or too erotic, both with their own percentage of
humor within. Bender accomplishes what I like the most..A book that has it all,
because let’s face it; People have all different sides within them..Bender has
amazing dialogues between the Camden and Keegan, but also between Keegan and her
family and friends and Dodger..The story progresses in such an effortless way,
like it was meant to be written, meant to happen in this specific way..
The
story has romance that we all fantasize about, humor we all need, hotness we
all crave, but it stays true and down-to-earth at the same time. Parts of it
could be someone’s reality and other parts could be someone’s fantasy. THIS is
why I loved this book!
This book can be part of
anyone’s life and anyone’s dream..It is realistic, but it is also dream-ish..It’s
simply very true and that’s why Bender has become such a huge success; it integrates
into our lives and dreams.
It is what we could live
for. And what we dream about..
Stacy Borel currently resides in southeast Texas with her husband and two kids. She grew up as a military brat and has lived everywhere from California, Alaska, Azores Portugal, and Hawaii. She loves traveling and seeing new places, so being a military spouse is perfect for her. Stacy enjoys the adventure of moving every 2-4yrs. It's refreshing to experience a new place.
Stacy is a self proclaimed reading addict and Facebook addict. If she's not doing one of those two things, she can be found writing, or playing with her kids. Some of her hobbies are listening to new music, going fishing, being active outdoors, and she always loves spending time with her out of state family.
Stacy discovered Indie Authors in early 2012 after reading Fifty Shades of Grey, and there began her passionate love affair with books. She always wrote stories and journals growing up, but she decided in December 2012 to really dip her toes in the water with a romance novel. She now has three full length novels under her belt, and a whole new series for the 2014 year.
