Synopsis
Alexa is just your average college junior, attending classes and piloting Mile High Club charter flights.
Boys haven't been on her radar for a couple years after a disastrous breakup with her high school sweetheart. Her plans to focus on school hit a bit of a snag when she meets bad-boy Drake Bennett and he sets his sights on making her his own.
Drake transferred to Blythe College for the rugby team, not for a new assortment of college girls. He's sexy and cocky, and he attracts women like moths to a flame. When he meets Alexa, Drake knows he's met his match. She tries to resist him, but Drake isn't used to taking no for an answer.

Push the envelope is
simply amazing!! I loved every second of it…I was hooked the moment I started
reading it…..And I want to reread it a million times more…
The story was so
different and beautiful…It didn’t have a tragedy in it and I loved that…By that
I mean that not every single person has a psychological trauma from his/her
past and not every story we read has to have a major drama in it. Push the
envelope was refreshing and so very alive that it was like you were watching a
movie in your head and not reading a book. It was simple but elegant. It was
sexy but also down-to-earth, considering we are indeed reading about 2 college
students.
If I had to describe
this book with just few words, I would say this:
Simple. Refreshing.Elegant.Beautiful.
Judging by the synopsis,
a reader would expect a good book. But Push the envelope surpassed any expectations
and it crashed any reservations I may have had about it. The most interesting
part of all this is that it is the debut novel of Rochelle Paige. Her writing
had such elegance and grace that I would have sworn she has written many books
in the past. The simplicity and the beauty her writing has are just outstanding…
Rochelle has created a
beautiful book and set the bar quite high for her series, but also for her
career as an author. If her first book is that good, you have to wonder what
she’ll do in the future. I certainly do and I cannot wait to read more of her books.
Rochelle, you are
brilliant and amazing! Well Done, girl!
