Cannon & Cora's Story
Cannon Jacobs has a past he wants to forget. The former Navy SEAL has seen his fair share of death and despair, and he would love nothing more than to escape the hell that tortures him. But no matter how hard he tries, Cannon has never been able to quiet the angry demons inside of his head.
Then he met her.
Cora Daniels’ life has never been pretty. Actually, it's been downright ugly at times. But when you come from the trailer park, and your mother’s reputation is nothing more than a stain on your name, it makes it hard to believe you’ll ever find true happiness. Yet, Cora lives with the hope that someday, she’ll find the love she deserves.
The real kind.
Sometimes the love you find is not the kind you hoped for. Sometimes…it’s more.
You never know when love will come along and change...everything.
NOTE: Can be read as a standalone.
One of the best finales I’ve seen in a series!!
This is a story that you fall in love with. You don’t just like or enjoy it. You fall in love with it with such intensity and such ferocity that will scare the crap out of you, but you wouldn’t have it any other way.
After reading about Barrett and Archer, it was hard to imagine that I would love another guy from the same series so much. But it happened. Cannon is THE MAN. I loved him with every fiber of my being.
He’s just an amazing and sexy beast of a man. He’s protective and possessive to the point that I thought my ovaries would explode. But it’s not why I fall for him.
Cannon knows Cora. He knows her inside and out. He feels her, he senses her. He knows everything there is to know about her, from the smallest detail to the biggest elephant she’s hiding in her closet. He knows her and he understands her in a way I haven’t seen a male character do in a long while. He surprised me and I loved every second of it!
Cora is a remarkable woman. I can’t begin to imagine how difficult her life has been. Her problems made mine shrink in comparison and made me feel ungrateful for the beautiful parts of my life that I don’t always see. She is loyal and loving and strong and anything a young woman should be.
I didn’t write this book. I didn’t edit it. I am just a reviewer and I feel so proud of this book.
K Langston made me feel things that I never imagined I would in this book.
Thank you for a truly MESMERIZING story that takes the reader far and beyond!!
Forever You’re Mine receives 5 Amazing Stars because it couldn’t go any other way.
There was one or two points in the story that weren’t fully explained and it felt like jumping from one thing to another. I didn’t like that, because at least the one time it happened, it was an important point in the story. It would usually cost ½ star, but I couldn’t take anything from my man, so there you go.
K has been married to her very own country boy for 14 years. They live in the deep south with their two crazy kids and a speckled beagle named Sadie. K worked in property management for ten years.
