Review: The Don: Sebastiano

The Don: Sebastiano
The Don: Sebastiano by Elle Raven

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Don: Sebastiano was another surprise to me. While reading the synopsis, I wasn’t sure if I would like reading a book with so much violence and excessive language etc. However, the book was kindly given to me and the other reviews were quite positive -in fact, everyone loved it- so I read it, as well. And I am a very happy lady that I did.

The Don: Sebastiano has a quite intricate story, with characters equally complicated. Everything about The Don: Sebastiano is intriguing.

The authors have introduced this mafia as a family. A loyal family. A family with secrets and pain. But that’s what family is, right? Complicated. Well, The Don: Sebastiano includes another complicated family.

They are cruel and ruthless. But, they do respect. They respect values that other men, who aren’t involved in illegal and cruel activities, don’t.

This book isn’t simple. It’s not just a sexy and hot book in a mafia world. It has a depth, a heartbreaking depth, that will rock your world. It will shatter your ideals and how you view the world. It shows that everything isn’t black and white. In fact, there is a lot of grey in it, 50 shades of it, too.

Our characters evolve with and because of each other. It was a truly remarkable sight to have.

The Don: Sebastiano receives 5 Huge Sparkling Golden Stars, because it is earth shattering and heartbreaking.
