She watched her best friend find her superhero.

Now she wants her turn.

Despite a run of bad dates with Mr. Wrong, Mr. Boring, Mr. Bad Breath, Mr. Grabby Hands, and even Mr. Say I Love You After One Date To Get Into Your Pants, Kate McGuinness is more determined than ever to find the one.

Having tried everything else, she turns to the internet in a last ditch attempt to find her elusive prince.
But Kate doesn’t want an everyday, run of the mill love.

She wants the kind of love that makes your heart skip a beat. The kind of love that makes you dance in the rain and bottle up the sunset. The once in a lifetime kind of love that authors write about, musicians sing about, and lovers dream about.

Could a certain police officer in training, who has come to her rescue in the past, be the one to swoop in and save her heart?

What if the love Kate desperately seeks has been in front of her the whole time?

She just needs to open her eyes to see it...

My Review

BJ Harvey never ceases to amaze me..Temporary Bliss (Bliss #1) was an amazing book with an incredible story, adorable characters and BJ’s wonderful writing just completed the package! True Bliss simply seals the deal..

I have to be honest and say that I didn’t really like Kate’s dreamy character, while I was reading the first book..But I did like Zander and since we’re talking about BJ Harvey, Temporary Bliss was a no brainer for me..After reading this book, Kate still hasn’t convinced me for her so claimed awesomeness..But I have to agree with Mac and state that Kate and Zan make a very beautiful couple, where the one completes the other perfectly..

About the book itself..

The story was very sweet and definitely lighter than Temporary Bliss..It was beautifully written..The impeccable writing really made it up for me, since I didn’t love Kate’s character…It’s really a wonderful read! Everything was perfect about it..I wouldn’t change a thing..

About the characters..

>>The beautiful sweet Kate..I must say that she was called very feisty throughout the book, but I didn’t really see that..All I saw was a sweet girl, a loyal friend and generally a young woman who looks desperately for a man..That’s the part I don’t like about her..Perhaps it’s because I’m nothing like that..Or perhaps it’s because I think you don’t rush things like that..Or even because I find that kind of despair quite appalling and annoying..I don’t know..But she is a very sweet person and a rock for Mac, so I like her a lot for that…

>>Zander..Oh My…What a man..His POVs are worth to be read again and again..Actually, scratch that…What you must do is to mark his line in the book and read them a thousand times..I swear that man was created for women…I loved everything about him! Nothing more to say..Partly because I’m daydreaming about him..xoxo

In conclusion,

If you haven’t read the first book, Don’t fear..You can read it as a stand-alone..BUT  Temporary Bliss is an excellent read, so you should really buy that one, too..

If you have read the first book, well you have tasted BJ Harvey’s writing and I know you want more..

BJ Harvey did it again..The Bliss Series is something you don’t want to miss..
*Disclaimer: This book contains a hot as hell stripper with a penchant for public sex and exhibitionism who may or may not succeed in bringing out the inner firecracker in all of us. Oh, and don't forget the batteries.*

Realizing that the day is getting away from me, I gather my laundry for the week and head around the block to Suds R Us, my local laundromat. Once I have the washing machine on, I sit back in the plastic chairs lining the wall and pull out my phone. Time for my weekly phone call to Mom and the girls.

It rings twice before my sister Danika picks up. “City morgue. You kill ‘em, we chill ‘em.”

She never fails to amaze me. “Danika, that is terrible!” I say, still chuckling to myself.

“Zan! Tell me you’re coming home soon.”

“I wish I was, squirt. I’m too busy with work and the academy. Who would’ve thought you have to study to become a cop?”

“Well duh! Of course you do. How else will you know how to get fat and eat donuts all day?”

“Oh is that what I’ll be doing all day? Well shit, I’m glad you told me now,” I reply sarcastically.
